Why a north star?
Polaris stays in the same place in the northern sky while the other stars turn around it, so for centuries people have used it to find their way. This website borrows the idea for parents: a clear place to find where the school is, when it is open and how to ask about a seat.
This is the website's own reading of the name, not a statement from the school.
